Mp3tag V.2.32a is a program to edit the metadata included in your MP3 files. The latest version of this program is 2.43, but it no longer works under Windows 95, Windows 98 or Windows ME. This is the last version that support those operating systems. Mp3tag is a tool that´s capable of editing the metadata found in common audio formats. It supports ID3v1, ID3v2.3, ID3v2.4, iTunes MP4, WMA, Vorbis Comments and APE Tags. The metadata information consists of data fields such as title, artist, album, year, track, genre, comment and folder for each MP3 file. By using this program, you will be able to rename files based on the tag information, as well as replace characters or words in tags and filenames. You can also import or export the information contained in the tags and create playlists. You can even grab the information for you MP3 files from freedb, a public online database that holds information from thousands of titles. This way you won´t have to enter the data manually, and you will be adhering to some kind of format. |
