v3.1 [Mar 30, 2020]
- Dark Mode starting with Windows 10: It’s automatically available if the respective system setting is enabled. It took three major development attempts over the past years and I’ve touched code that hasn’t seen any light for the past 15 years. I can say, it was quite an undertaking and I’m very happy with the result. The feature is not for everyone — however, I’m sure that all the connoisseurs of darkness will like it.
- Support for Windows 11: The next version of Windows is about to be released and I've used several of the insider previews to make Mp3tag work nicely with Windows 11 and make a possible update a smooth ride. However, if you find any quirk or think you've found a bug please let me know.
- Updated Code-Signing Certificate: I've updated the code-signing certificate that is used to digitally sign and verify the origin and integrity of Mp3tag's installer and executable.
- Refreshed App Icon: Finally, the new version comes with a refreshed app icon. It’s not that different from the one before and has a more modern look. I hope you like it!

FIX: fixed scaling issue that appeared on some systems where toolbar icons were not rendered correctly (since v2.70).
FIX: after selecting multiple sequences of files auto saving affected only the last block.
CHG: renaming files marked as read-only does not require removing of read-only flag anymore.
